The Genesis Festival

Lore Excerpt

In the vast expanse of the universe, a solitary Astrid perches atop the very edge of existence. It gazes out into the infinite abyss, lost in contemplation of the memories of the countless friends it once had, and the sublime beauty that once was. The Astrid sighs, a sound that echoes through the cosmos, as it feels the weight of the ages upon its shoulders. But even as it broods in solitude, a sense of anticipation fills its heart, for it knows that the end of all things heralds the dawn of a new creation.

With a sudden burst of rapturous joy, all four thousand Astrids leap from their celestial perch, filling the void with their exuberance and emotion. They dance and twirl in perfect unison, their movements shaping the very fabric of space and time. As they revel in the magic of the moment, their elation transforms into a shower of sparkling stardust, igniting the birth of the universe anew. This is the Genesis Festival, a time to revel in the wonder of existence and drift off to sleep under the light of the first stars.

The Astrids drift off to rest, lulled by the gentle hum of the newborn cosmos and dreaming of the day when they will be reunited with old friends reborn. They dream of a universe brimming with magic and wonder, a universe that they have helped bring into being and that they will continue to shape with every Stargazer's marvel. And so, in their slumber, the Astrids remain, guardians of the cosmos and creators of the universe, always watching, always waiting, and always ready to dance anew.
