These are the NFTs ingrained with the identities of real stars, during the Proof-of-Concept Phases only the Main Collection: Astrid Stars are intended to be the stars in the Ad Astrium Ecosystem. On the other hand, the final product launched at the beginning of The Scaling Phases is intended scale and expand indefinitely, to accommodate a very large userbase. The Final Product will be a completely separate product to the proof-of-concept iteration which is only for the core community. With that in mind, new sets of Star NFTs will be minted specifically for the final product. Holders of the main collection will be airdropped their appropriate Star NFT for the final product. Providing them with agency on how they wish to proceed. The Astrid Stars Collection will then fully transition into being akin to shares of the business itself and a historical piece of art representing the genesis of something greater.
The Main Collection, along with any subsequent star collections we may release, is based on the the HYG Database, a publicly available star catalogue constructed by David Nash. The HYG Database is a combination of four notable star catalogues, containing all the stars and their accompanying datapoints from the Hipparcos, Yale Bright Star, and Gliese catalogues (almost 120,000 stars) The HYG Database also uniquely includes cartesian plane coordinates for each star. Making it the ideal basis for us to build our main technological offering, the Ad Astrium Star Map.
