The Stardust System

While the Tech Gets Built, We Won't Stop Growing

The Star Ownership Ecosystem's most resource intensive component lies in the Star Map. While we develop our core tech, we have zero intention of slowing down engagement and entering a prolonged "boring phase". Enter, the Stardust System which gamifies the collecting experience of the OG and Main Collections.

Gamification of the Collecting Experience: Nothing New, But Done Well with a Star Theme

The Stardust system serves as the foundation for the majority of the NFT reward systems in the Ad Astrium ecosystem and drives the gamification of the Astrid Stars' collecting experience.

Trait Hunt, Hold and Engage

While majority of the points will be derived from holding Ad Astrium NFTs, and min/maxxing your collection with the best possible combination of Stars and Supernovas, we are working on integrating engagement as a contributor to the overall points. With the goal of find the correct balance between being inclusive towards those with less disposable income and aptly rewarding larger holders.

Star Map Integration

Unique use of the Star Map

Why?

To put it bluntly, by continuously, relentlessly, and proactively growing our brand while we develop the tech and art in the background, we will have a better chance of maintaining better floor prices, stimulating volume, higher social media activity, and keeping the community entertained. The importance of these metrics are further highlighted in Star Community section of this paper.

In Partnership with Yepple

We are currently finalizing the terms for the development of the Stardust system and its user friendly dashboard with the beloved Cardano Team, Yepple. The decision to outsource the development of the Stardust System dashboard is to allow our core tech team to focus on the development of the Star Map.

Incentives That Close The Zero-Sum Loop

The rewards for participating in the Stardust System will primarily come in the form of NFTs whose value will be consumer-centric, derived from their high quality of art, collectability factor, tech-based utility, "giftability", and novelty. These "extra or supplemental" NFT Collections will not be in the form of Star NFTs and will not have any intrinsic utility that indicates any form of profit-sharing from any of our revenue streams. This is to eliminate the promise of additional profits by introducing consumer-driven incentives and not investor-driven ones. We believe that successfully doing so effectively prevents the Ad Astrium collecting experience from becoming a never ending zero-sum loop. The challenge now is that the art needs to be amazing enough, the story engaging enough, and the tech promising enough to have its value be intrinsic to its nature. Watch us pull this off.
