At first, she thought it was a satellite or a shooting star, but as it drew closer, she realized it was something else entirely. A small, childlike figure with hair pulsing with astral energy was hovering in front of her telescope lens. She could hardly believe her eyes, but she managed to capture the moment on film. And thus, the existence of Astrids was captured by humanity for the first time.

The discovery of Astrids was a major breakthrough for humanity, but also raises many questions and concerns. Governments and private organizations begin a race to understand and exploit this new phenomenon, leading to secret research and experimentation.

The race between governments and mega-corporations to monopolize the power of the mysterious astral beings has been raging behind closed doors. A massive explosion rocks one of the mega-corporation facilities, now known to be a Celestialite or Starstone mining facility, shattering the veil of secrecy surrounding the Astrals. While the events of that day remain confidential to the public, footage of a human and Astrid working together to survive the disaster makes the existence of these supernatural beings irrefutable. The mainstream media is quick to report on the event, spreading the news of the Astrals and Astrids to the entire world.

A decade has passed since the explosion that exposed the existence of Astrals and Astrids to the world, and humanity is still struggling to understand the full extent of their powers.
